We are excited to be offering these rich and textured prints by Angie Keefer a respected and notable American artist. They are a unique pair of silkscreen prints priced at the current value of an ounce of gold. They are derived from a brand mark Keefer designed for a communications company that develops encryption technology and the title is taken from a popular book on business management subtitled Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In. Her work often relates to systems of economic distribution. We are fortunate to be presenting First Class, Second Thoughts, Interminable Swell a solo exhibition by Keefer until March 26, 2017.
Angie Keefer is an artist, writer and publisher who lives and works in Hudson, New York. Her videos, objects, texts, talks, performance, and events explore modes of representation and the semantics of visual experience. Keefer completed her BA in art from Yale University in 1999. Her artwork has been featured in the 2014 Whitney Biennial, the 2014 Liverpool Biennial and the 2012 Sao Paulo Biennial. She has also exhibited at MoMA PS 1, New York; Kunstverein Munich; Objectif Exhibitions, Antwerp; Artist Space, New York; and Kunsthal Charlottenburg, Denmark, among other international galleries. With Dexter Sinister, Keefer co-founded of the online and printed publication The Serving Library in 2010. In addition to The Serving Library, Keefer’s written work regularly appears in numerous artist publications including HDM, the journal of the Harvard School of Design, and Mousse.
