Erica Eyres |
2015 | graphite on paper | 11.75 x 16.5
Seven women stand in a procession in Erica Eyres’ sensitive and strange pencil on paper drawing Women in a Line. Eyres uses the leading naturist magazine Health & Efficiency as a reference for this body of work and there is a certain vulnerability to the representation of her characters.

Eyres received her BFA Honours from the University of Manitoba’s School of Art in 2002; her MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in 2004; and is currently a Ph.D. student at the Northumbria University.
