New book of photography, words and sounds, curated by Leslie Deere as part of her ongoing series exploring Southern Gothic. Most artists are from the Nashville area. Others have lived or worked in the deep south. Includes MoMa artist Allison Janae Hamilton, Harmony Korine collaborator Garland Gallaspy and iD featured Michaela Pilar Brown. Sounds from Alabama Shakes keyboardist No Stress (Paul Horton), Hobbledeions and other experimental musicians from Nashville, Memphis and Mississippi.    

Leslie Deere is a UK based artist, current PhD student at the Glasgow School of Art exploring altered states, sound and gesture technologies.
