Sylvia Matas | vast, constant, irreversible
2014 | embossed paper, 12 pages, edition 16 of 30 | 5 x 6 in
The meaning of a poem slips through time, changing with every reading and should never be presumed to be static. These delicate, nearly invisible, embossed prints by Sylvia Matas are a shifting poem that is always to be read differently. Her poem in this form is unending and as such an artwork that constantly redefines itself.
