Marcel Dzama | Divers
1997-1999 | watercolour & rootbeer | 9.75 x 12.5 in

Marcel Dzama’s Divers is an impeccable example of the watercolour and rootbeer drawings that brought this Winnipeg born, Brooklyn based artist to international stardom. The diver surfaces for air and quietly sits in the middle of the page while something hangs, floats, or swims above.

Marcel Dzama is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Brooklyn. Born and raised in Manitoba, Dzama is known for his drawing, sculptures, dioramas, films, and paintings.
